We are excited to offer a power hitting masterclass with specialist batting coach - Julian Wood.

Having spent plenty of time in the USA observing the training methods and biomechanics associated with baseball, Julian has devised his own patented, cricket-specific training programme that is proven to improve a batsman’s hitting power via the use of personally designed training aids and drills.

Since implementing his ‘Power Hitting’ programme in 2011, Julian has built an impressive CV, working as a consultant coach for Gloucestershire CCC, Hampshire CCC, Middlesex CCC and the ECB, with particular focus on their T20 campaigns and improving key batter’s hitting for the game’s shortest format. Other counties have seen Julian’s work up close and intend to get him involved for the 2015 NatWest T20 Blast onwards. Julian has also worked closely with some of England’s premier T20 performers on an individual basis – in fact he worked closely with Alex Hales and Michael Lumb ahead of the recent Big Bash League in Australia. Julian has also worked with IPL franchises.

This course is for experienced cricketers (male or female) rather than beginners and due to the specialist nature of this course spaces are limited to 16 players, so do book early to avoid disappointment.
